Ethiopia is renowned for being the birthplace of coffee and still holds some of the worlds most unique plant heirlooms. The clean acidity highlights the fruity notes and leaves you with hints of Red Apple and Meyer Lemon. We lightly roasted this coffee which gives it a tea-like mouthfeel.

This Ethiopian is sourced from the Kochere District located in the southern region of Ethiopia. The independent growers and small farm holders in this area take great pride in hand-picking the best cherries and selecting the ripest cherries for processing. Indigenous people to this area call this coffee “White Flower” which is a presumptive nod to the fragrant budding white flowers of arabica coffee plants. Something unique about this coffee is that it has a local Ethiopian varietal referred to as “Kumie Diga Wilsho”. This coffee is washed which means it is pulped, fermented, washed and then laid out on drying beds to stabilize the moisture content. Elevation for this coffee ranges from 5,500 feet to 6,000 feet.
